Warm Grey Neckie

I haven't been knitting a lot lately, and i have two works in progress - both for my honey coincidently. A month ago, i wanted to knit a little and make something quick. After browsing over all my beloved knit porn sites (Ravelry, etc), i decided to just make something myself. This is what i came up with.

I used a lovely chunky grey yarn and adapted the Daisy pattern from Debbie Bliss' Como book. Here's the pattern i made up, but be warned i'm not a technical writer/knitting pattern person!
Find your desired size of needles, and cast on accordingly, making sure the amount is an uneven number
Do rib stitch for 4 rows (4x4)

Pattern:
Row 1 - K (right side)
Row 2 - K 1 [P3 tog but do not drop sts from left needled, YO, P same 3 sts together and then drop off needle, K1]. Do to end
Repeat these 2 rows to form the pattern for length you wish

Rib again to finish

As pattern is knit flat, i used turquoise velvet ribbon as a lovely way to close of the neckwarmer/cowl. Feel free to use ribbons or some fun buttons!
