Hand-Made Tablecloth Weights
After my oilcloth tablecloth blew off the table a couple of times already, i realized it was time to do something about it. Thinking oilcloth was heavy just didn't do the job! So, i got a little creative and used what i have.
Since i have a large collection of buttons, new and old, i looked for some that were 'picnic-like' and found some cute ones that had a red and white gingham look, as well as some ladybugs and strawberries. I attached them to an old clip with wire, but this wasn't heavy enough.
So, i found some old plastic animals that i used for craft projects in the past and found some that are barn animals - a cow, sheep, donkey, and dog. After securing them to the wire, i looped it through the buttons and voila - weights that work!
